Wheel weights have been around for many years, but are no longer the only wheel balancer solution for motorcycles and scooters. Dynamic balancing is a much better solution than using conventional wheel balancing weights.
Dyna Beads is a high density ceramic bead that continuously balances your motorcycle or scooter tires as you ride. The material distributes itself based upon the balancing requirements of each tire. A smooth, vibration-free motorcycle wheel balancing is the result, producing a glass smooth ride. Even as the tire wears with use and age, Dyna Beads continue to automatically reposition during rotation providing maximum motorcycle wheel balancing results.
How do Dyna Beads Work?
When the tire is at rest all the beads are on the bottom.
As the tire begins to roll the beads distribute equally around the inner circumference of the tire
Every time the heavy spot in the tire goes up slightly and quickly. The beads resist this motion and get forced downward.
As the ocillations get smaller, the beads move more slowly to a point of final precise counter-balance.
The tire is vibration free and the beads stay fixed in their position due to centripetal force. Beads not required for counter-balance are distributed equally on either side.
